Therapy For Residents of HIGHLAND, CO

Therapy in Highland – A New Story Counseling

The Highland neighborhood is one of Denver’s most popular areas, known for its creative energy and standout dining scene, with favorites like Root Down, Linger, and El Five. It’s a neighborhood that draws people in - with its mix of local flavor, walkability, and community feel.

But like any high-demand area, parking can be a hassle, especially when your day’s already full.

At A New Story Counseling, I’ve created a space that’s close by but much easier to get to. My office is just outside Highland with a small parking lot and plenty of free street parking. I offer both in-person therapy in a warm, private setting, as well as online sessions for those who prefer flexibility.

I’m Brooke Zalis, a licensed therapist, and I work with adults and couples navigating a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety and self-doubt

  • Relationship or intimacy concerns

  • Low self-worth and identity struggles

  • Life transitions and emotional overwhelm

I also offer specialized services that can be hard to find:

My approach is grounded, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I pull from modalities like ACT, CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you better understand what you’re going through, reconnect with what matters to you, and take meaningful steps forward.
